Trisha and Brynn were married in Seattle, WA. It was a great excuse to check out the sites because I have always wanted to visit.
Here are some pics in no particular order.
Visiting Pikes and ran into Sierra who was also in town for the wedding! We stopped over to the original starbucks to enjoy a cool drink. It was SO. HOT. Not what I was expecting for Seattle! I guess it was the 1 week a year that it is warm! haha
I like this snarky picture. Do you see it? The awesomeness and Irony? :)
Me and Pops in front of the view.
I think mom actually DOES know Barbies last name.
I found the space needle! :) Didn't go up inside but cool to see it.
We did the super touristy thing and did the duck tour. A bus that turns into a boat? AWESOME! :) It was fun to see the houses in the water. Also the original house from the movie Sleepless in Seattle!
The wedding was on Bainbridge Island so we had to take a Ferry across. First time for that! It was like my entire time playing Oregon trail in grade school prepared me for this moment.
Sara, Lindsey, Mern
There was a lovely staircase that descended down to the beach. Very pretty venue.
Mern, Preston, and Lindsey down on the beach
The did a great job decorating! Loved it!
This was actually the rehearsal but it's a cute moment with their fathers! :)
Baby Beau and I enjoying the view from the Balcony. That's Seattle in the distance.
The bridal party
The Troll under the Fremont bridge! I remember seeing this in the movie 10 things I hate about you and thinking it was SO COOL. So when I was planning my trip I was super excited to see it was located in Seattle. It is holding a VW bug that is covered in cement. There was a capsule buried inside at one point but someone has since stolen the valuables out of it and left is some drawings from children.
SADDEST homeless man ever! Such despair. It makes me sad, but I have to giggle at the same time. He was just sitting in the trash in front of Starbucks.
The gum wall! What looks like vandalism actually started from people waiting to get into a comedy club! One piece of gum has multiplied over time! disgusssssting! I was happy I could take a piece for the road. ;)
Dad and Beau bonding. :)
