LAKE POWELL

This is a post from WAAAAY long ago that was somehow saved in my drafts! When I posted it it posted on the top? That is not normal...normally they post back when they were created. Weird....

LAKE POWELL!!What a blast! It is the most relaxing thing I have ever done in my life. You don't realize how great it is until you go. Honestly I would suggest that if you EVER get the chance to go to powell on a house boat for a week that you make that your top priority! It doesn't get any better. The scenery is amazing and there is plenty to do. Here are the pictures from our trip.

This isn't us but I wish it was!! There is a rope that they used to climb the rock face! It looked pretty easy but noone wanted to try and rule number 2 was never go out on your own.

Rule #1 was never cliff jump.... oops... We broke that. Here is Trisha, Antonio, Brynn and Lindsey on the cliff that we jumped off of.

Steve decided we all needed to learn how to tie our knots so he taught a class one night. I think we are all pro's now! Watch out Boy Scouts!

Antonio and I started a spa... Really we just but sand all over our bodies and then somehow turned into aboriginies and danced on this high rock. He was actually whiter than I was... That has never happened....

We ate hotdogs and rt beer floats at dangling rope. There was a gas leak so we had to wait around for a long time while they got it contained.

The last night we had to do all the traditions. Burn the paper, Roast mallows, skinny dip, and I think thats it... Here is the mallow roasting.

We found out that sparklers and leaving the shutter open for a bit creates great picture! Now I didn't try to do this but if you look closely you can see an A with a halo over it and angel wings!! How cool is that!!

Jumping off the house boat is a favorite pastime.

Its so beautiful. There is plenty of time to enjoy nature and sit and think and read and enjoy each other.

Lake Lake Lake

Just for the record. Saguaro lake is pretty awful right now. Since tempe dam is broken they aren't letting any water out. The water levels are getting so high that it has washed all the trash from the land into the water. There isn't that much beach available.

Other than that its great! We had a fun time. Packed a picnic and spent a few hours out here after work.

Needles California Jetski Trip

Well it was FINALLY time for our jetski trip to Needles California. I had never been so I didn't know what to expect and that made me really anxious. so I packed EVERYTHING. It's a disease. BUT it's a good thing I did. Lots of people needed lots of different things and 98% of the time I had what they needed. We rented a little cabin for 75 a night and stayed 3 nights. 12 of us went and we had a great time and made new friends.

Nope, this isn't where we stayed. PSYCH. They have all these amazing houses lining the River. I.WANT.ONE. They have moviestar written all over em.
