Presidents day weekend

Saturday night.

Emily, Jeremy, Chuck and I went to the movies. We saw This means war. It was REAL funny. I don't know if I have ever seen chuck laugh that much.
I wasn't too happy with the ending at first, but then I saw the ending of the ending, and I was happier with it. The movie was real fast paced.
And everyone in the movie was beautiful. Reese is so classic. I heart Tuck with all his tattoos. I know we shouldn't like tattoos... but I do.

Weekend Madness

Congrats Brynn-O

Graduating from ASU has got to be the coolest feeling. :)

We had to pay for parking in coins. I was able to find $9 in coins in my truck. lol. Trisha had to spot us the other 3. $12 for parking is uncalled for.

I handed the coins to the parking attendent and he said, you have got to be kidding me. I said nope. Sorry, I wasn't expecting to get raped in parking fees.

SATURDAY.

I didn't take any pictures at the lake because we all know how much luck I have with camera's around water. We took the Ski out and it was THE BEST lake day I have had in 2 years. the swells were HUGE and it seems every yacht on the lake was out. THANK YOU TO ALL YACHT OWNERS. They make the best waves for me.

We had to stuff 4 peeps in the back seat on the way home.

Abbie, Jenalee, Ashley, Mern

If going to the lake isn't enough fun for one day you can always go home, shower, and go to fuddruckers for dinner.
And then to the movies to watch Ironman 2.
We were out till after midnight.
The best part is we all made it to 8 am church. :)
Thats dedication peeps.

These girls are awesome, they all came to listen to my relief society lesson just cause they knew I was stressing about it! HUGS

Calling all fair weather fans!!!!

IT'S PERFECT FOR THE DRIVE-IN! Scottsdale 6 drive-in is always a good time and ALWAYS a good idea. Especially if you have a couch to throw in the back of your truck!! WHAT IF your couch actually ROCKS as well?? OH MAN. Can you handle this?? haha. It was fun. Our movie choice was crap though. For $5.50 you watch two movies and noone cares if you sneak panda express in the theatre. :) We watch The Bounty Hunter and The back-up plan. Both were just average. If you are looking for a good romantic comedy you can pass on these two. If I had to choose which one was better I would go with The Bounty Hunter. Maybe The back-up plan wasn't funny because I have never been pregnant? idk But JLO going through a trash dumpster in Heels looking for a pillow is a little far fetched, I don't care how psycho your hormones make you...
We had a great time though! Jennalee, Christi, Jakobee, and Mern.

Why do I love feet pictures so? I bet if I went through my computer I would have AT LEAST 50.

When in Rome

Roommate Kara Palmer got us free tickets to go to he premier of the film When in Rome. It was delicious! Premiers are so fun because everyone is WAY more into the movie. Their is clapping and cheering going on, extra applause and great energy. Its the same with midnight showings.
The movie was really clean and I don't remember hearing any swearing. All the characters were easy to laugh at. It was the typical romantic comedy with the phrases of "why doesn't she just say something" "oh he is so perfect" "Oh, she is going to screw everything up"
The leading actress was really refreshing and had the cutest style!
The leading actor, although a pig in real life did a great job and was a charming role.
Check it out. You will enjoy.

AVATAR

OMG IT WAS FANTASTIC. I saw it twice last weekend! Such a beautiful movie that had me crying at times. I don't care that it was 2 hours and 40 minutes long. It was time well spent. It was fun to let your imagination run wild. After the movie I was sad that I wouldn't be alive in 2154 if it was going to be like that. I would go to Pandora for sure. I don't agree with war or the fact that humans think they can take whatever they want no matter what the consequence. Negotiate and if that doesn't work, TOUGH. You can't take anything you want with a gun and hand gernade.

First timers.

THE BLINDSIDE
Tori and Justin had never been to the drive-in! HOLY COW. I couldn't
believe it! So I got a group together and off we went. We watched The Blindside. It was FANTASTIC. First I just LOVE Sandra Bullock. She is one of my favorites. The best part was when she called a guy crotch mouth for being Vulgar. It was your normal feel good Friday night lights, Remember the Titans movie, only better because of Sandra.
Go see it.
You will love it.

A Christmas Carol in 3-D

I loved it!! This was my first 3-D film that I remember watching. It was fun but sometimes my eyes got tired. There were times that you REALLY felt like you were flying. The film was a bit slow at times but it was okay because there was so much to look at and reflect on. Multiple times through the film I had to think back on my own life and see what I can change to live more fully and treat people better. Jim Carey did a great job. I was surprised when Colin Firth showed up as the nephew. His voice is dreamy.

So run out and see this movie and start your Christmas season of right! :)

ALL ABOUT STEVE

I knew I was going to love this movie. It stars Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper. Can I just say 2 beautiful people?! That alone makes a movie enjoyable. Sandra happens to also be a favorite of mine and this film just made that love grow. She is a GREAT actress. She plays so many different roles in her films and this role was one unlike any other. She is not live Vince Vaugn who has 1 role that be plays over and over and over like the energizer bunny of Hollywood. He does it well but where is the true talent. Change it up a bit and show us if you can do more than that! Back to Sanrda, Her quirkyness and happiness and laugh is adorable. I envy her love for words. I read something today on a friends blog about the average american using 6,000 words. An educated american uses 9,000 words. Shakespeare used 36,000 words!! I wish I could master the art of words. I truly believe that it is power. You will get it once you see the movie. I promise your side will be split from laughing so hard and you will leave your guts on the cinemark floor! As far as it being rated PG-13 I was impressed with it. Maybe I am "de-sensitized" but I never felt uncomfortable and it wasn't full of sewer language. Only once and thats okay because they were, in fact, in a sewer. :)

I think the above pic the correct portrayal of relationships. One person is TOTALLY digging it, and the other is thinking HOLY CRAP. WHAT IS GOING ON? ABANDON SHIP. THIS IS NOT WHAT I SIGNED ON FOR.

This part where she was running along with the van was FANTASTIC!

Something I liked all the characters in the film. Mostly the pro-leg characters. They had a passion and love for EVERYONE. Even if they didn't know someone they felt with them. I find that hard to do. Maybe its because I am a Haws and we feel things differently..... I wish I had the passion of these people.
