GRADUATION!!

Well, May 4th brought my college graduation! I had finished classes a few weeks earlier and was excited to get the ceremony out of the way. University of Phoenix ceremonies are LOOOONG because so many people are able to graduate, bitter sweet. It was held in the University of Phoenix stadium.
After this schooling I don't know what I will do. For now stay at my current job, but hopefully I am able to work for a high school as a high school counselor. A Masters degree is needed, but I am not ready to go back to school just yet.

Cap and gown! YAY!! :)

This is my manager, Dave Fort! He graduated the same day with his Masters Degree.

The girl closest to me, I have no clue who she is. haha. She stood with us in line and I guess we became best friends. She took my number, forced me to try her lip gloss, and asked me to be in the pictures her mom took of here while walking to the stage. haha soooo ya. The guy and the girl next to him (the one not paying attention) were in some of my ground classes before I switched to online. It was fun to have some people at graduation that I knew. We were able to celebrate together.
Mom, me, Dallin, dad, Lindsey
Joann, Brynn
Thank you for coming to my graduation!

Dallin says to me, Mern, we both graduate in the same year. It's like we are twins. So Yep, we are graduation twins! Love that boy and am going to miss him while he is on the Mission. His papers are in and should have his call in a few weeks! YIKES! I can only imagine the anticipation he is feeling right now.

Here are all the fun decorations. :)

I was sure to wear my beautiful flowers ALL day. We went to a "May the 4th be with you" party. I wore it there and went as Princess Leia... haha  This is me in my pajamas STILL wearing them. Thanks sister!

TAPP 2013

TAPP
This year found us up in the homeland. We started with Dallin's graduation on a Wed and partied on until Sunday. I had to leave on Saturday morning but some stayed till Sunday.
Trisha and Brynn did an awesome job of working out while
we were there! This is them getting their crunch on.

I spent a little time trying out my pellet gun.

Bottles rockets were made. Chloe wanted to send this doll to the moon! haha I suspect she had grandmas help.

A shot of Haws park. I didn't know they had redone the outhouse! It is super nice up there! I love all the trees.
Robert brought his family and their horses up for a little riding. The kids loved it! I thought they would be scared of it but none of them were! weird how a tiny dog can cause them to cry but a huge horse is exciting. lol
The boys created the start to a tree house. It is just a platform for now but they have big hopes for it. Then the created a zipline off the platform! Future Haws kids are super lucky! We didn't have anything like this. We played hide and seek and piggy wants a motion while we had cookouts. Speaking of, we all played a fun game of piggy wants a motion! haha Even grandma and grandpa played and I have never seen grandpa run that fast! I guess those new knees are really working out for him!! Grandma was running around in her boot with her broken ankle! haha it was a good time and brought back lots of memories running around with the haws and bloomfield group!
Buddy and Sara introduced us to woofums! yum!
Tyson and Kim had  a BIG announcement for us!!!!!!!!

And this is what a few days of camping will do to you! haha I even had socks and shoes on!
I guess I am in charge of the reunion next year so we shall see where we go! I have NO IDEA where to hold it! yikes.

Chloes and Annies B-Day Movies

Chloe and I got to go to the Movie for her 8th Birthday.  She had plenty to talk about on the way there and enjoyed being the center of attention for the whole trip. We saw the croods and she LOVED everytime belt would say "DON DON DON" She kept repeating it the entire way home. :)

I also got to take Annie a week later but didn't get a picture on my phone! However we had a good time. She invited Grandma and Grandpa Haws to come with us. We watched the Croods again. She is such a sensitive girl and was crying at the end. After we took pictures in the photo booth and she refused to make a silly face. haha always wanted to make sure she showed her best smile. She is so cute.

Chloe Turns 8!

Adorable little Chloe turned 8 and chose to be Baptized. I remember when she was born. I was super excited because she made me an Aunt. I was going to EA at the time. Tyson was there with me and we were greatly anticipating her birth. The day she was born I rushed to the computer lab to check my email for her picture. Believe it or not I didn't have a cell phone, or a computer. When I got that picture I remember thinking, HOLY CRAP. Where did she get all that dark hair?! It wasn't very cute. Sorry Chloe.
However in just a few months she developed the biggest bluest eyes I had ever seen! She keeps getting lovlier by the day and am so proud to be her Aunt.

So this is what happens when you are trying to keep a little boy quiet during a baptism. Brighton is the funnest.

And max joins in on the crazy.

Ah, see, I did pay attention...

After the baptism we had a luncheon/birthday party at Buddy's house.
Here is Ridge drinking his caprisun like a boss.
Heading to Costco with Grandma and kim! I got to sit in the back with Brighton and Jensen. It was a busy day!

Friends

I have some pretty awesome friends. Here are a few. They are the Peanut to my Butter. The Sugar to my cake. The water to my melon? haha idk. I just think they are great.
Ps. This was on Sarah's Birthday. At Blancos. yum. Happy Belated Birthday Sarah. I.Love.You.Girl.
RIGHT?

Rocky point

Trips to Rocky Point make me a VERY happy girl. Very, VERY happy. I don't get how people are scared. I understand that scary things have been happening in Mexico and that freaks people out. But if further research is done they will see that it doesn't happen in Rocky Point. Plenty of people go down all the time and are fine. But I get it, bad things can happen, and they do....but they happen everywhere. I have faith that as long as I am not putting myself in stupid situations in Mexico that I will be fine. However, God willing, I might get hurt in Mexico...But then that is just Gods plan, right?

Me, Tori, Emily.

This is the way to go to Mexico... Lots and lots of DOLLA BILLS. It just makes paying for $2 tacos SO much easier. If you go, take ONES.

Mangoes WITH CHILI on the beach are a must.

Our view from the Condo. We stayed at the Princesa.
I usually find my condos on Craigslist under Vacation rentals. I have never had a bad experience and have done it a handful of times.
This weekend was conference weekend, and we listened ON THE BEACH. It was so much easier to stay awake.
I got up early Saturday morning and did some running on this here beach. It was pretty cool.
 A view of the condo.
This is at the shopping center on the waters edge. We bought some killer Shrimp here. I have 5 lbs in my freezer just waiting to be cooked up. Yum Yum!

Adios Mexico! See ya in a few months!
Birthday weekend BOOYA

Food truck Friday

Me and my work peeps have been wanting to go to food truck Friday for forEVER.
I love the eclectic feel of downtown Phoenix. I mean, whoever puts a bird on it is awesome in my book.

Basically food truck friday is just that. A bunch of food trucks get together on Friday and people eat. It will be open all summer, if you dare brave the heat.  We had some Cajun food and some nasty hummus stuff. But there was pizza, desserts, mexican, hamburgers, so many options!

I am just a fan of doing something that is Different. New. Fresh.
