Friends

I have some pretty awesome friends. Here are a few. They are the Peanut to my Butter. The Sugar to my cake. The water to my melon? haha idk. I just think they are great.

Ps. This was on Sarah's Birthday. At Blancos. yum. Happy Belated Birthday Sarah. I.Love.You.Girl.

RIGHT?

Trips to Rocky Point make me a VERY happy girl. Very, VERY happy. I don't get how people are scared. I understand that scary things have been happening in Mexico and that freaks people out. But if further research is done they will see that it doesn't happen in Rocky Point. Plenty of people go down all the time and are fine. But I get it, bad things can happen, and they do....but they happen everywhere. I have faith that as long as I am not putting myself in stupid situations in Mexico that I will be fine. However, God willing, I might get hurt in Mexico...But then that is just Gods plan, right?

This is the way to go to Mexico... Lots and lots of DOLLA BILLS. It just makes paying for $2 tacos SO much easier. If you go, take ONES.

I usually find my condos on Craigslist under Vacation rentals. I have never had a bad experience and have done it a handful of times.

This weekend was conference weekend, and we listened ON THE BEACH. It was so much easier to stay awake.

I got up early Saturday morning and did some running on this here beach. It was pretty cool.

This is at the shopping center on the waters edge. We bought some killer Shrimp here. I have 5 lbs in my freezer just waiting to be cooked up. Yum Yum!

Birthday weekend BOOYA

Food truck Friday

Me and my work peeps have been wanting to go to food truck Friday for forEVER.

I love the eclectic feel of downtown Phoenix. I mean, whoever puts a bird on it is awesome in my book.

Basically food truck friday is just that. A bunch of food trucks get together on Friday and people eat. It will be open all summer, if you dare brave the heat. We had some Cajun food and some nasty hummus stuff. But there was pizza, desserts, mexican, hamburgers, so many options!

I am just a fan of doing something that is Different. New. Fresh.

Just me lately

So I am sad I haven't blogged in almost a year! It seems that's how life goes sometimes though. Here is a new goal to write about it more! I have a few other goals!

1. Try new things with my hair more often.

Down, and up.

2. Play more!

Had some girls over for girls night.

Built a fort and did silly things!

and LAUGHED, a lot!

3. Zumba more!

Anna teaches and she is bomb.com.

So that's it!

Taking care of Momma

Momma wanted some extra attention lately, and boy is she getting it!

It started out with passing out and breaking her ankle BAD. Screws, plates, and chains later she has a new ankle.

Coming out of anesthesia wasn't the most fun for her so she was put in the Show low hospital for 4 days. I went upon Thursday to help out and spend some time with her. Luckily she got to go home Friday and I was able to pack her up and get her home safely.

They took her in the biggest wheelchair I have ever seen. lol It was the princess and the Pea of wheelchairs.

The next weekend I came back up with Lindsey and Robyn. I stayed at my friend Heather Lee's. She has been awesome helping out, cleaning, bringing in meals! She didn't even have to be asked, just walked in the house and started doing it. She is such a blessing.

Here is her youngest and he is adorable! Her boys are well behaved and cute as ever!

The first weekend was Dad's birthday and I didn't get a picture of his cake! :(

But here is mom and hers! :)

We packed her up on Saturday to get here out of the house. We ate at Java Blues. They have a huge mural of John Wayne on the wall! I guess the bar inside was used in a John Wayne film too.

So that was the weekend! We also did a little Easter Egg hunt for Heather's boys which was fun. I forget how windy it is up in that little town! But I gotta love it! :)

Glow Run in March

Tyson and Kim convinced us to do the Glow run @ Encanterra golf course. I would suggest everyone does this run! It was so much fun to run around the course at night. The weather was perfect, it was before sunset and they give out the nice shirts.

Lindsey and Robyn did the 10k and the rest of us did the 5k. I finished in 48 minutes which I am ok with since I am just happy to finish ALIVE. haha

Check out that view! I had to stop and take pictures. It reminded me of that group on the movie Yes Man. Remember they had the group that ran and took pictures at the same time. haha. Doesn't sound like such a bad idea! Kill 2 birds with one stone.

Dirty 30! The price is right

Buddy put together an AWESOME trip for Sarah's 30th birthday. A surprise trip to California He invited friends from Utah, California, and Arizona. They have some amazing friends and it was great to get to know them.

Lindsey and I had to stick around till later so we caught an early morning flight to be there Sunday morning before all the festivities.

We got to check out the Temple.

We drove around checking out all the masions in Hollywood. Then we went to Santa Monica pier to do a scavenger hunt and ride the roller coaster. We saw a homeless man get tazed which was pretty cool, well not for him... but for us it was exciting.

Then Monday we did the price is right. I have done it before and this time around it was SO much better. We had a blast and the show said they haven't seen a group with our energy since the Bob Barker days. They even put is in the FRONT 2 rows! So watch it on April 10th, 2013! :) I am excited to see it. One of our friends got on and he made it to the showcase showdown! It was exciting.

Then that night everyone headed home. The AZ peeps had rented a van so we drove all night so we could be to work the next day!

We will remember the Dirty 30 group for a loooong time. :)

Disneyland at Christmas

The beginning of december we went to Disneyland. It was a lot of fun to do something other than a family reunion is a family. We missed those you didn't come but hopefully they saw how awesome it was so they won't miss next time. :)
