I have tried so hard to put this pictures in order and I can't decide if it's worth the time! Does anyone have any tips on how to do it?! I tried categorizing them in a folder in order but then when I upload them they go all out of order! phewy!!!
Any way... Here is
SAN FRANCISCO
We flew out friday night. We ordered a LIMO to pick us up from the airport because it was only 20 minutes more than a taxi. HOLLA we were super excited because we had never been in one! Well turns out it was a LIMO SERVICE. Not the same thing, and a huge let down! :( Plus the driver was super annoying, so we didn't tip him. OOPS, not! I think tips are too often expected, and not earned. I understand some people work for tips, but it has to be earned people!

| Here we are on the Boat that took us to Angel Island and Alcatraz. This was our first activity in SF |
| This is near Embacadero station |
| The MUNI. Traveling around wasn't as easy as it was in NYC but thankfully nice strangers were willing to point us in the right direction. Brennen can make friends ANYWHERE. |
We stayed in this great condo near the CASTRO station. It was a pretty old place with great character!
| I ordered DIM SUM not knowing what it was. It was terrible! Never again. Everywhere was trying to sell it to us so I figured it was a popular thing and would be delicious. Wrong. |
| Here we are walking to Lombard street. I couldn't believe the slant of some of the streets. It was quite the climb, but had great views of the harbor |
| Homeless Kwhip shining my shoes up a bit |
| Walking the Golden Gate Bridge. So cool! |
I took a bus to China town!
This was my favorite part of the trip! So much fun to look through all the shops and goof off. I bought some amazing placemats that I will always have to remind me of this trip. |
| The historic district |
| Riding the cable car. The only moving monument! We rode it 2 blocks just to say we did. |
| Our flight out. See, not in order at all. |
| More of our awesome 2 bedroom condo |
| the kitchen |
| Embacadero during the day |
| I think this is the Oakland bay bridge as seen from our tour out to Angel Island. |
| Alcatraz |
| IT WAS FREEZING. not kidding. WAY too cold for us having been in 100 degree weather just hours before. |
| Here is Angel Island. We only came here because it was the only way to get our Alcatraz tickets but I am so glad we did! I enjoyed the tour and the history. It kind of felt like we were touring Jurassic park minus all the dinosaurs. Loved it. |
| part of the housing used for military way back when. |
| It was WINDY. We took a little outdoor tour bus all around the island. |
| View of Alcatraz |
| I am a sucker for some pretty flowers. |
| A seagull made it's home in the Wardens fireplace. haha |
| So many cool things to see on Pier 39! I would love to go back and spend more time here. |
| Got some awesome bread bowl clam chowder here. mmmmmmm Then hunted down the place where they actually make the bread so I could buy some amazing jam a friend told me about. Then had to throw it away at airport freaking security. Has anyone ever heard of a jam bomb? A-hole terrorists ruined my life. |
| The Seals at Pier 39. |
| Boudin where they make the bread. |
| Just a random pirate that tried to take me away on his ship. I would have gone but I hadn't seen Lombard street yet! |
| CHOCOLATE! Ghirardelli square. Why didn't we eat ice cream here?!!? I don't know. But I regret it. Now I will have to take another trip to get some ice cream. I hear it is delicious. |
| Where my feet have taken me. This is known as the crookedest, or most winding street in the world. |
| This dude just took a nap on Brennens shoulder. WTF. haha. Like I said, he makes friends wherever he goes. |
| Shopping in China town. Brennen was cold pretty much the entire trip, except for when he was wearing this hat. |
| Our best Asian impression. If the hat fits.... |
| China Town |
| Gay pride flags were all over the city. Over the years SF has really become popular with the LGTB community. We missed Pride week by a week or something. I guess they have all sorts of big parades. |
Throw your hands in the air, like you's a true playa. Golden gate bridge |
| The painted ladies. I didn't want full house growing up but Brennen did and made sure to check this out. Mrs. Doubtfires house is on the same street but was too far to walk and we were running out of time. sad. Across the street from here was a cool park called alamo park. It had some great views and would be a fun place for a picnic. |
We saw the civic center, city hall. the Symphony house, the Opera house, the financial district.
It was a fun 2 days! Thank you SF! You were amazing. Can't wait to see you again.
My next adventure is SEATTLE! Another bucket list trip under way! :) |
