Whoop whoop! Marking Nashville off the list of all 50 states to visit! :)
The trip started off in a Dicey hotel. But we got out of that situation. Also, I got peed on during this trip. LOL. Had to share a bed with a fellow traveler and apparently she slept really, really, really deep that night. hahahaha. Oh well. What do you do. Life could be worse. It gave us a LOT of good laughs for the rest of the trip. I wish I had a picture of Brennen, Kelsie, and I together but I don't know if we got one.
The Grand ol' Opry was AMAZING. We saw Love and Theft and Lady Antabellum in concert. As well as a bunch of other acts. It was a grand ol' time. (See what I did there? ;))
There was a random Parthenon. It was massive. We didn't go inside but it was fun to look at. In the same park was a festival going on so we stopped and ate at a food truck. I don't know why I think food trucks are so cool, but I do.
This was at the Belle Meade plantation that we toured. Learned about horse racing, slaves, and old stuff. This play house is every little girls dream!
Yum yum yum! Worth the 1.5 hour wait to get in. :)
We got up early to check out Honkey tonk row before all the crowds showed up.
The Johnny cash museum is pretty new. It was small but had some cool things inside. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did.
This is the.... crap I don't remember! OH! Maybe Writers row? It's supposed to be pretty happenin and night but we don't hang around to find out.
HonKey ToNk row. We had a great time eating dinner and listening to bands play. At one place the singer was walking around and sang right at my face for what seemed like FOREVER. The band was pretty good. We went in the most popular bars and they were TINY and PACKED full of people. There is a lot of cool history involving the musical performers of the past and these little music halls. Go to Nashville, learn it.
Random fall decor at our hotel. I was just a bit excited for Halloween.
This was at the Grand Ol' Opry hotel which was MAGNIFICENT. It was so massive! There are all these cool gardens inside. I would LOVE to work there just to have a place of serenity on my lunch break.
