Saturday

Saturday started off with SLEEPING IN! SWEET LOVE! Keara was in town all weekend and we had a ball! She wanted to go to the renissance festival and I had never been! Jakeb and Matt were also planning on going that day. Kara and a friend from Utah were ALSO going! So we all met up and had a great time!! It was fun but different than I expected. There are some FRE.A.KY people out there! wow.

Here is the pickle man that told me a pickle a night keeps everything alright... hmmm..What do you think he meant by that. haha
While eating our pickles a man walked up to Jakeb and I and said that if we were in a contest to see who looked better eating a pickle I would win. Really? Okay, cool! haha

Here are the belly dancers... hmmmm...Some people should NOT be on stage wiggling their belly. TRUFFLE SHUFFLE!!! hahahahaha

This is how Jakeb and Matt do work on turkey legs. I didn't try these, but probably should have!

yeah thats right! haha. I will take 2 please.

Keara and I with our Purple Cow drinks. Yum! Not what I was expecting but they were good. NOT as good as Jakeb said they would be though.

Hanging out.

We were scared to sit on the grass. all those weird people. dropping their turkey legs on the ground. gross.

I am rockin this hat! I should have bought it.

Awww! I love her! Still working on our purple cows.

Here is the fresh, nut man. Don't even start with the wise cracks, we already went there.

This is pretty much all we saw of Jakeb. He was in line for every yummy treat you can think of. He only came for the food. Can you blame him? no.

These chairs were AMAZING. I will have one in my front room one day. They are called SKY chairs.

Here is the ToryStellar? He was funny. What a talent.

HEY NUNNIE NUNNIE. BY FAR the best act that we saw! These ladies are AMAZING. We bought their CD and hopefully we can use some of their stuff for a MEP skit or something.

Hey everyone, show me your nuts. Uh Jakeb, REALLY? haha this is why we are friends. :)

Just some fun photos.

Fitting right?
-----------------------------------------------------
After the festival, we barely had time to change we went out to the Sand Draggs and Mud Boggs. It was stellar! So many fun people out there. Awesome Dragsters. Quads all supped up on crack! it was amazing.

Christie, me, Keara. We are babes.
I busted out my Dream Rider Shirt for the occasion.

Check out this awesomeness. It popped a wheelie the ENTIRE track. It was amazing. Other people were getting up to 100 mph in 300 yards!

I LOVE this picture. Christie and Jakeb.

Roommate Kara and THE ZACH

It was all a blur. Thats how amazing it was.

Here are some quads racing. Anyone can come out here and race. Just pay your $15 entrance fee. One day I might.....

Christie and the favorite car.
I forgot to take pictures of the mudd boggs. Picture large bronco's and awesome 87 chevy suburbans, mud slingers, etc. it was fantastic.

Friday

Oh how I love my Friday's! The adventure they hold each and every time are amazing and I am greatful for them!! Last friday was great fun! I had to get an oil change. UGH right? Who likes to get an oil change? I DO. I loaded up my bike, then my roommates bike, then TOLD her she should come on a bike ride with me. She agreed. So we dropped off my truck and rode our bikes around while we waited. We went to a yard sale and found an AMAZING light cover for $0.25!! Very exciting. Then we found some horses by the canal.
Julie Ann is convinced that the like her.

Then we planted some wild flowers on someones yard. I hope they grow for them and make them happy!!

Friday night was Elicia's Bachelorette party! I planned to do a dinner at her favorite restaurant, Claim Jumpers! Then we went to a comedy club! We had lots of laughs!
Isn't she beautiful!!

NICE cheese stick, girl.

We brought out our best faces for this night! :)
Here we are at JesterZ. I don't know why everyone didn't get in the photo. If you haven't been here, YOU NEED TO GO! It's SOOOOO much fun. They highlighted Elicia and did a skit about her. They did a great job impersonating her. haha

Oh, we had to get people to sign her shirt. All sorts of different people. They wrote all different words of advice. I still have yet to read them all. Some appropriate, some amazingly clever.

She is on the PROWL for the last night. Her fiance always teases her because she is older than him and he calls her a Cougar. It's fitting that it's a cat on this. It was supposed to hang from the rear-view mirror but it made a better necklace.

SPRRRRRRRRRRRING

PICNIC TIME. These are my adorable sisters! We meet up last Thursday to have a picnic at the park and do a little sun tanning. Picnics are so much fun!

The ghost town.

Last weekend THE ZACH put us in his truck and took us on an adventure! We went out to A.J. and hit up a ghost town!! :) A mining ghost town. During the day it is lively with tourists and street gun shows but at night there is only 1 thing open and that is the Mammoth Saloon. BOY WAS IT LIVELY! We had a great time! There were all sorts of local old people there country dancing and a live band. It was fun and the food was amazing. I didn't feel like I was in a saloon, it was more like a dinner theatre. I would suggest it to ANYONE! :)

Here is Jakebee with his name tag, aka SUGAR

I wish it was daytime so we could see all this cool stuff. They had mining equipment all along the main road of the town.

We can take a ride on my big green tractor...

A cage? What the weird. Despite all her rage she is still just a rat in a cage.

What was so funny? you will never know.... Kara laughs, and it is fun.

Slagle came! He has officially moved out East and said we better get used to having him around. DONE AND DONE!

Are we drinking, or barfing?

I wish there was more time....

FOR NINTENDO! Some people just don't get how to play. It's NOT that hard... See below....

Yes I have grown facial hair and wear sweater vests. Now you know why I am still single. moving on,

Thats it. Thats all thats involved. You don't need to twirl the control behind your back and do a hand stand to make your avitar go forward and rescue the Princess. Just run and jump. I happen to be a fan of the old school games. Mario 1, 2, & 3, are ones that I have bought for the wii. Its simple, you just have to connect your wii to the internet and then start shopping! The next one I want to buy is Super nintendo 64 where mario runs around and dominates the castle. I haven't bought it yet because you have to use a different controller. I DREAM of the day that I buy it so I can play. You can bet I will be calling sick on that day. I will stay home and dominate bowser. ALL.DAY.LONG. It will be as the heavens have opened and its raining skittles and cheezits. Don't judge me. You all have your guilty pleasure. Whats yours?

I am a TEACHER!

My Calling in my singles ward is Relief Society Teacher! Way fun right?! I thought I was going to hate it...up until the minute that I started teaching. Sure it was SCARY and sure it took time to prepare the lesson. I am WELL aware that most girls in my ward know more than I do and that terrified me. I LOVED it though. I loved what I learned. I loved how teaching made me study, and think, and ponder, and ask questions. It created a desire within me to prepare a lesson every week. I only teach once a month but it was addicting. I found myself pondering my topic multiple times during the week leading up to the lesson. Multiple times everyday things I was doing applied to my lesson and helped me have a spiritual focus during the week. I loved that!!
If you have a desire to be better and draw closer to the spirit, prepare a talk, lesson, spiritual thought.
IT WORKS.

WARMMMMMMER

Summer is just right around the corner. Ice cream melts before you can get it in your mouth! Check out Jensen here! SUCH a cutie! I got to hang out with him a few times this weekend. What a doll!

This weekend Dallin's high school choir performed at the San Tan Village. They are on their way to California where they will board ship tomorrow morning for a cruise. Lucky kids. My high school tour was AWFUL. This is an opportunity that a lot of those kids won't get again. All the family that was there, except Buddy and Sara of course since they live in California. I think they have plans to go watch him perform in California tonight or tomorrow though.

Sunday Tyson and Kim gave WONDERFUL talks in church and I was able to go and listen and help with the kids. I was able to hold little baby Brighton during sacrament. What a doll. If his pacifier falls out he gets SOOO upset and his face gets all red and he starts squirming! haha.

I love my neices and nephews!!

Ski trip to Sunrise last weekend.

Zach and Kara rocking their cool glasses in the car next to us. They crack me up!
We went up Thursday night instead of Friday to relax a bit and turn it into a mini vacation.
We went to casa malapai east or something like that. I don't know eXACtly how to spell it. Basically its some Indian Ruins right outside of town. Pretty cool. We even got to ride a handicap bus out there. Picture of that to follow.
Here is Kara.

Here is me and lil Bro Dallin. Notice the sun dial circle behind us? It was used to tell time/dates.

Dallin has the SWEETEST new girlfriend.

Only in ALCO can you find a shirt like this. LOL. It was such a cute/depressing shirt.

Here is our handicapped van that we rode in out there.

Gotta LOVE that face!

We all know I have a thing for feet pictures... I am going to start a museum one day...

And the DAY OF SKI! It was fantastic. The weather was great. The slopes warmed up and thawed out by midday. My legs were strong and let me play all day. love love love love.

Tyrell, Kylie, Mern
Last trip I had a tramatic experience with sun - sunscreen + cold sores = a very ugly, grumpy Mern
So needless to say this time I was the masked skier.
We stopped midday for Lunch in the Lodge. The soup was MUCH needed.
